I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I completed my graduate studies with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, earning a M.A. in Community Counseling. Obtaining my license in professional counseling has offered the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, from private counseling to foster care case management, hospital acute care and child/adolescent residential treatment. These experiences have offered me the blessing of working with clients from all walks of life, navigating a tremendous degree of life experiences.
I am also a registered/certified play therapist. My specialized training and background in working with troubled children has enabled me to help process their burdens in a very unique and effective way. The extensive credentialing process has made me well adept at working with children and their families with great positive outcomes.
